Somewhere a team is redesigning an upright that another team already got right, and failing a scrutineering check that someone else documented two seasons ago. The knowledge exists. It is just scattered across dead forums, private Drive folders and Discord servers nobody can search.
We are building the place where it stops being scattered. It is free for teams and students, and it will stay that way.
What is coming

- Design reports, cost reports, test data and tutorials from teams around the world, tagged by subsystem, class, event and year, and read by a person before anything goes live.
- A parts marketplace
- Sell what your team has outgrown, find what it needs, or trade straight across. Listings and contact only: no fees, no commission, no middleman taking a cut.
- A forum that keeps its answers
- Including a rules section where solved questions become a searchable archive instead of scrolling away in a chat.
- Teams, alumni and companies
- Profiles that outlive a single season, and sponsors and recruiters who can find the people who actually built the car.
FSPitside is an independent project built by two former Formula Student members. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run by SAE International or any competition organiser.
