Something is broken, you have a question, or you want to help keep this running. All three end up here.

Something is not working

Write to [email protected] and say what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. There are two of us, so it is a person reading it, usually within a day or two.

If you can, include:

  • the address of the page
  • the email address on your account
  • whether it happens every time or happened once

The usual questions

My team is not in the list

Then nobody from it has registered yet. Whoever leads the team registers it, and everybody else picks it when they sign up.

My team is waiting to be verified

We check every team by hand and write to the team address given at registration. Replying from that address is the fastest way to get it done. If it has been more than a few days, write to us.

I cannot post a listing, or publish to the library

Those are two separate permissions, and your team leader grants them, not us. They are on the members page of your team, next to your name. If you are the team leader and cannot find them, write to us.

Our team leader has graduated and nobody can get in

Write to us from the team contact address. This is the situation the whole team-account design exists to survive, and we will hand the account to whoever the team says.

I want my data, or I want my account gone

Both are buttons, not requests: Settings → Account. Export gives you a JSON file with everything. Deletion anonymises what you wrote rather than tearing holes in other people’s threads, and the privacy notice explains exactly what is kept and why.

I want to report something

Every resource, listing, thread and reply has a report button. That route is the one we watch. See how moderation works.

Helping us keep it running

Teams and students never pay for anything here. That is fixed. What it costs to run (a server, a domain, email) is small, and for now donations are the only thing covering it.

If you want to help, the three things that matter more than money are:

  • Publish something. A report your team has already written costs you nothing to upload and is the single thing most likely to make another team recognise your name.
  • Answer a question. Especially in rules and regulations, where accepted answers become an archive.
  • Tell the team next to you in the paddock. This works in proportion to how many teams are on it, and nothing else.

If you would rather help with money anyway, there is a Ko-fi page. It goes on the server and the domain. Nothing on the platform is behind it, and nothing ever will be. Donating buys you no badge, no priority and no visibility, because the moment it did we would have started charging teams.
